I am a very kind person, patient, I see myself as an open-minded, honest, responsible, hardworking and tolerant person. At times, I can be talkative, dreamy, and imaginative. I'm a non-smoker but occasional drinker, because I try to stay as healthy as possible. I am a happy person with a very good sense of humour.I like hanging out with my friends, dancing, and going to the movies, but I also like sports. I swim and play both soccer and basketball. During my remaining free time, I enjoy playing video games, listening to all kinds of music, as well as reading magazines, books and newspapers. I dislike being alone on weekends, washing the dishes, and working at jobs that I don't enjoy, simply to make money. My dream is to travel around the world, getting to know lots of cultures and meeting many people, and having a good quality of life living in a very nice place where I would be very happy. I’d like to make a positive change in the world either by doing something to avoid global warming, or by improving quality of life for others. For me, high quality of life involves ensuring that they can do what they enjoy, such as spending time with their families, being healthy or whatever makes them happy.

Letter to a Canadian
Dear friend:
As a Mexican, I would like to welcome you as a tourist in our country. As a long time resident I am sure that you will enjoy your time in Mexico City getting to know our culture.
There is a piece of advice I´d like to give you, first of all you should go to the Zocalo and see the Cathedral, Templo mayor, Bellas artes and Palacio Nacional. Some other places you should go to are the Chapultepec Castle, Basilica and Xochimilco. These places are the ones I consider as the most important ones to give you a good vision of what Mexico´s culture is like.
Although I have some friends from Canada living here in the city , I know that several cultures converge there, therefore I´d like to know a little bit more about you culture especially the place you live in, so it would be nice if you could tell me about your customs and places to visit in Canada and it would also be nice if we could keep in touch.
It´s a pleasure to meet visitors like you, and I am looking forward to seeing you again so that we can get to know each other and be good friends.
Sincerely,
Your friend Robert

My expectations
I signed up to this course because I think I’m not very good at writing even in Spanish, so as We’re free to take any advanced course, I think this is a good opportunity to improve my writing skills.
I hope this course will be challenging and fun so that I can have a good time and learn much . I also expect to meet many people because sometimes I spend a lot of time with the same people at my faculty, so I think this is a good place to meet new people and share different ideas.
It seems to be that the course is going to be pretty demanding, so I´m going to do my best and I expect the same from my classmates.
I´d like to get used to writing more in English because I´m looking forward to studying abroad in a couple of semesters, therefore before I go abroad I want to improve my English skills as much as possible so that I can have a good performance in any English-speaking country.I think it is also important for all of us to be good at writing because it is a good way to express ourselves and grow as persons, it could also be a very useful tool We may need in our lives.
